Getting Access to ECUD Water

New Water Service - I do not have a meter or access to Ector County Utility District water

Has your well run dry or you would like to have access to ECUD water for other reasons? If you do not have a current line to ECUD water, please see the requirements and documents needed below.

 

The property must be annexed into Ector County Utility District to receive water.

  • If you are not sure if your property is annexed:
    Call 432-381-5525
    For English, Press 1, then 4, then 1
    For Spanish, Press 2, then you will be transferred to a dedicated line

 

The following documents are required.

  • Water Tap Agreement signed by Property Owner

  • Address Assignment

  • Warranty Deed with complete Legal Description

  • Approved recorded Plat of property

  • Copy of picture ID of the Property Owner

 

Only one tap may be purchased per year. (365 days)

 

If you need multiple residential taps at one time or an additional residential tap before the 365 days has elapsed, an approved contractor must be hired.

 

Note:

 

ALL commercial taps will need to be installed by an approved contractor.
